🌈 Color samples #2

Samples keep coming in, and the last round included legends and new sizes/rows, as well as adjusted colors based on the feedback we provided for the 1st round.

One key at a time

We are getting closer and closer to a full keyboard, and this half naked keyboard will soon be fully covered:

It is very exciting and satisfying to see this unfold, and we hope this photo shows the high quality work done by Keyreative's team when it comes to the high precision legends and reproducing the keycap's top surface curve on each row.

We are very happy with the doubleshot legends accuracy and being able to (almost) experiment typing on the final version of the URSA profile.

New color samples

Classic colorway is approved, shown here next to Realforce keycaps for reference:

So, let's recap:

• Red : works much better with Classic this time, but we might try some tweaks if possible, just in case
• Blue ✅ after spending much time with the keycaps, we are finally going for the 1st version that mixes better with both Classic and Black colorways
• Classic white ✅
• Classic gray ✅
• Black ✅
• MiniCom ✅ confirmed by biip

So we may give the Red one more try, even if the last version is a very solid option already.

Packaging

The package included a first draft of the packaging box. This is getting closer than ever to a ready to ship product. We noticed some things to improve and will send the new files in the coming days so it doesn't affect the timeline. No photo here so you get to see it for yourself upon unboxing!

We also got some trays, they are up to specs and a great fit! Your keycaps will be safe on their way to you, tightly packed so they don't get scratched during delivery and you can experience them in their whole glory.

Timeline status

No change on the September timeline, things keep moving and despite that one color that's still pending approval, we are on track.

Final sprint

This is the last mile before receiving the full kits samples. It is a marathon indeed, we are pumped to see what's coming. The whole team is excited and fully ready.

Once mass production is on its way we will open sales for the extras, so if you've missed out on the pre-orders this will be the time to pull the trigger. We will also send out emails to everyone who joined in to confirm orders and delivery addresses, because it's been a while and some of you may need to make changes.
