Injection tests started

We are starting the injection tests on the first batch of molds 🎉. The first keys to be tested are spacebars, Esc and Return keys.

Please note that all molds designs are ready now, and we could start making them all, but we prefer to have a safer approach and start with a first batch to identify any potential issues, specifically with the doubleshot legends.

Spacebars

All spacebars molds are made, and the first injection tests are underway. So far so good, but the 6u and 6.25u spacebars still need a bit of adjustment. We are waiting for the rest to get all these samples sent to us. Meanwhile, enjoy this high-res factory photo (jk, crappy factory pics are an industry standard).

Accents mold

The mod for Esc and Return keys is being made but isn't finalized yet. We are waiting for the first injection samples that should be ready next week.

Chinese holidays

This first week of October is the national holiday in China, and most factories are closed. We hope to see finalized injection samples by next week for all keys.

We will publish an update once we have them at hand so we can provide a detailed report, as chances are high that they will still need review and adjustments.

Timeline update

We can't provide a timeline update this time, we will have a chat with the factory once the test molds are done to see where we stand, and will update accordingly.
